Initial Consultation now closed

In accordance with the Parliamentary Constituencies Act 2020, the Boundary Commission for Northern Ireland is required to review Parliamentary constituency boundaries and submit its final report with recommendations before 1st July 2023.

Public consultation is an important part of the 2023 Review. In line with our statutory duties, the Commission published its Initial Proposals for consultation on 20 October 2021 and this consultation closed on 15 December 2021. The Initial Proposals Report, accompanying maps and other resources relating to the initial consultation are available on our Publications page. All representations received by the Commission during the initial consultation period will be published on our website in due course, along with information about the upcoming secondary consultation period.
