The Commission published its Final Recommendations on 10 September 2018 following the laying of all four UK Boundary Commissions' Reports in Parliament by the Government. The Government is responsible for laying a single draft Order in Council before Parliament to give effect to the Commissions’ recommendations. The draft order must be voted on and approved by both the House of Commons and the House of Lords before the recommendations come into force. The Boundary Commission has no role in this procedure.
