The Commission’s Annual Report for 2007-2008 has been published.

The Lord Chief Justice has appointed Mr Justice McLaughlin to be the Deputy Chairman of the Boundary Commission for Northern Ireland. The appointment will run until 31 December 2011.

The Commission are to consider an interim review of constituencies once any restructuring of local government has been finalised. Until then the Commission’s office has been temporarily closed to the public but enquiries can continue to be made by Email, post or telephone.
